Miyo is tomboyish and strong willed. She never backs down from a confrontation and is always quick to step in when someone is in trouble.
She was born and grew up in a small town. When she was 18 she moved to the city to attend university. Not long after starting school, a tragedy occurred forcing her to drop out. After the incident, Miyo met Kiku and soon after, started dating and moved into an apartment together. Over the last several years she has had many jobs and been fired from almost as many, usually due to her constantly drifting off and daydreaming.

Kiku is carefree, outgoing, and playful. But she is also serious and responsible when she has to be. She can usually be found playing video games and watching anime (usually hentai).
She grew up in the city to reasonably wealthy parents. Four months after her 18th birthday, Kiku lost her parents to a fire in their 3rd floor apartment. She was taken to the hospital where she met Miyo. Both having suffered a tragedy, they bonded quickly and soon after began dating one another. Since then, Kiku has become a successful freelance fashion designer, making more than enough to support both herself and Miyo. Even though they don't need the money, Kiku always insists that Miyo have a job as it's good for her.
